The lesson shows us that God is righteous by referring to Luke 5:1 – 11 when the Lord Jesus made Simon Peter and other fishermen, fishers of men. The lesson teaches us that God is righteous because He does what is right, just and fair. The lesson also teaches us that because we are born sinful, all our good deeds are dirty. The lesson also teaches us that until we repent of our sin and believe in Jesus, all our good deeds are like a dirty rag.
