Kabwata Baptist Church Hope Ministries
Hope ministry is a ministry that joyfully shares the gospel and gives hope to people particularly in prisons, hospitals, orphanages, and transient homes (Chilenje). Our primary objective is to win many souls for Our lord and savior Jesus Christ, empower families with survival skills and provide food for children and families with the support from child hunger fund (CHF).
CHILD HUNGER FUND
Hope ministry partnered with Child Hunger Fund since 2018 and has since acquired five mercy sites in Lusaka (3 sites), central (1) and southern province (2). The goal of this partnership is complimentary, in that Hope Ministry provides accountability in all the mercy sites and ensures that the material needs supplemented by CHF are distributed timely and reach the intended children/ families. Secondly and most importantly, Hope Ministry creates a ripple with the children and families to share the gospel.
CANCER DISEASE HOSPITAL
Hope Ministry has frequently visited UTH for a number of years now. But the whole of 2018 at UTH was spent at CDH and we had provided material support for cancer patients who needed supplementary foods and supplies. Most importantly the constant sharing of the gospel at CDH. Pray for us in 2019 that many Hope Ministry members might avail themselves of such ventures and that the gospel shared might bear fruit. Pray also for Hope Ministry, we have an opportunity to share the gospel in the mother’s shelter, and the sister in charge encouraged us to visit more
CHILENJE ORPHANAGE
Hope Ministry has been working with the Chilenje orphanage and has provided material financial and spiritual support. It does help in facilitating Sunday school lessons at the orphanage and ensures that every Sunday school teachers are identified and available to teach and share the gospel every Sunday. Please pray for HM, has it constantly visits and teaches on Sundays that the Lord might use this vesture to save many children for himself and also that the members of Hope Ministry might be equal to the task
