Who We Are
Campus Outreach Ministry (COM) is a church-based ministry under Kabwata Baptist Church (KBC) in Lusaka, Zambia. It seeks to Glorify God by Evangelizing and disciplining students so as to build Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World!Heading Text Here

Coordinating Campus Outreach
We are passionate about helping university students become connected to Christ and His Church. Through partnerships with campus ministries, Bible studies, discipleship, fellowship, and practical support, we seek to create a welcoming community where students can grow in faith and build lasting relationships.
Creating Opportunities for Connection
University can be both exciting and challenging, and we want every student to know they belong. By partnering with campus ministries, encouraging hospitality, and creating opportunities for fellowship, mentorship, and celebration, we build meaningful connections that point students to Christ.
Equipping Students for Spiritual Growth
We are committed to equipping students with biblical truth for every season of life. Through discipleship, Christian literature, devotionals, and practical resources, we encourage students to grow in their faith and confidently live as followers of Jesus.
Mobilizing the Church
Student ministry flourishes when the whole church is involved. We encourage every member to invest in students through prayer, hospitality, mentoring, practical support, and generosity, demonstrating Christ's love in ways that strengthen faith and build lasting relationships.
Investing in the Next Generation
Supporting students is an investment in God's Kingdom and the future of the Church. Through faithful giving and partnerships, we provide the resources needed for outreach, discipleship, hospitality, and ministry opportunities that help students grow into lifelong disciples of Christ.
Our Upcoming Tunakukola Project
Tunakukola Project (TP) previously known as the Leadership Project - This 4-day event, starting 12-15 October 2026, is designed to train students in guiding others in their relationship with the Lord. It covers topics such as studying the Bible, sharing one’s faith, and understanding the fundamentals of the Christian life. This project will host students from University of Zambia, Information and Communication University and Texila American University.
Join Us
To become a member of the ministry, you must first be a member of Kabwata Baptist Church. Once you are, feel free to reach out to any ministry member who can provide you with more information about COM. There is no formal application process for joining this ministry. Meetings are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
