Dr Wilbroad Mutale got saved in 1995 and is a member of Kabwata Baptist church
Dr Wilbroad Mutale is an associate professor of Medicine and Public Health with appointments at The University of Zambia, Vanderbilt, and University of North Carolina. His medical practice and interest include Paediatrics, palliative care and Telemedicine. Dr Mutale holds a PhD in Health Systems & Policy from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He has 18 years of work experience in Sub-Saharan Africa working as a clinician and researcher. He runs several research projects in Zambia and abroad. He is a mentor and supervisor for several master’s and PhD students. He is the current CEO for Teledoctor Zambia and Woodlands Specialist Clinic. Dr Mutale became a Christian in 1995. He joined Kabwata Baptist Church in 1999.
Prof Goma, got saved in 1980. Is a member of Lusaka Baptist Church
Dr Fastone Goma is Professor of Physiology and Cardiovascular Health. He is former Chief Medical officer of St John’s Medical Centre and visiting Physician at Mother Teresa Hospice in Mtendere. His scope of practice includes Cardiology, Palliative Care and General Practice. His areas of influence include health systems, health promotion and preventive medicine. He has been a member of the Christian Medical Fellowship for over 30 years. He is a member of Lusaka Baptist Church.
Prof Bowa got saved in 1983 and is member of Evangel
Prof Kasonde Bowa is Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Publication) as well as Executive Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Lusaka. He is a the first Zambian Professor of Urology . He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow, The American College of Surgeons and the College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa. He holds post graduate academic qualifications in Anatomy, General Surgery, Urology, Public Health and Medical Education from the Universities of Glasgow, Zambia,Lusaka and the University College London.
He has been practicing Medicine for over 32 years. He was previously Assistant Dean Postgraduate at the University of Zambia for 6 years. He was also the Founding Dean of the Michael Chilufya Sata Copperbelt University School of Medicine, for 8 years. He is the recipient of several local regional and international awards including the Zambia Medical Association Meritorious award in 2015, The Belgian Africa Research Laureate prize, the International Guest Scholar of the American College of Surgeons and the Marie Rahima Dawood Medal. He has published a number of books including his own autobiography titled “Making the Cut”, a medical textbook “Lecture Notes in Anatomy” and a Christian book “From Flame to fire-A history of the Baptist Church in Zambia”.
He has run a number of Radio and TV programs on Health related matters in English and local languages. He has been a newspaper columnist on popular health topics for the Zambia Daily Mail and the Times of Zambia. He has done several podium presentation at local, regional ad international conferences on subjects related to Urology, Men’s Health, the Christian Faith and Health Promotion. He has been a popular speaker on Health among youth groups, women’s group and church groups for many interdenominational Christian meetings. He is a practicing Christian of 39 years standing.
